近日，印度重工业部宣布推迟实施经2024年第二修正令修订的2020年《电气设备(质量控制)令》的下一阶段。根据2025年11月6日发布的S.O.5038 ( E ) 通知，修正案表格中列出的所有产品类别的执行日期已推迟，具体执行日期另行通知，但2024年11月10日生效的第1.1(a)条除外。这一延期是在之前的通知中批准的延期之后，包括2025年5月5日发布的最新通知。根据最初的实施计划，受影响的产品需要BIS Scheme X认证才能获准在印度进口和销售。
最初的2020年质量控制令于2020年11月11日根据S.O.4044( E ）首次发布，此后经历了多次延期和修订。这些包括2021年10月18日的S.O.4492 ( E ）、2022年10月28日的S.O.5083( E ) 和2025年5月5日的S.S.O.2007 ( E ）。通过2023年5月9日修订令S.O.2132 ( E ) 和2024年第二次修订令2024年5月3日(S.O.1896 ( E )进行了进一步的修订。
